Enrico from the 700 Level confirmed today that "The Incredible Hulk" will be throwing out the first pitch for Thursday's game at Citizens Bank Park between the Phillies and Red Sox. Now clearly the ACTUAL "Incredible Hulk" will not be throwing out the first pitch because he would clearly eat the ball, throw it too hard, or tear Citizen's Bark Park down, so we're talking about Lou Ferrigno here, people. You know, that guy from "I Love You, Man" and "King of Queens" and oh yeah, "The Incredible Hulk" back in the late 70's and 80's .
The Phillies chose Ferrigno to throw out the first pitch on Thursday because the "Wizard World Comic Con" is in Philadelphia from May 30th to June 2nd. But come on, Phillies. Why would you pick a born and raised Brooklynite, who probably a Yankees or Mets fan? You couldn't have scooped up one of those Big Bang Theory guys? Or someone else who isn't from the rival city of both the Red Sox and the Phillies? That's just my thought. Another thought, Ferrigno won't reach home on the first pitch and will probably wear a Yankees/Mets hat in the act, because honestly, who's going to mess with the "Incredible Hulk"? Not me.
