If I told you Dom Brown made Phillies team history, what would you say? Would you believe it?
Well despite the Phillies below .500 record...he did. Dom Brown is the first player in Phillies team history to win "Player of the Week" in two consecutive weeks.
Brown is on a tear the past month, hitting .389, with 36 RBIs, and 15 HRs, with 12 in May. Brown is leads the NL in home runs with 16 (3rd in MLB) and ranks 8th in the MLB in SLG% (.574). Dom Brown is living up to the hype that "everyone" made of him while he was a mere child in the minors. Now Dom is a grown man. A very grown man. SO grown, that he's makes the Hulk look small.
Well now that you know Dom Brown made Phillies team history and is bigger than the Hulk, you'd pretty much believe anything, right? Well what if I told you he didn't have cable? Would you believe it? I mean EVERYONE has cable TV. Kids is 3rd world countries have cable TV. People underwater have cable TV. There's even Cable TV in heaven and hell (only Yankees games though). Well believe it or not, Dom Brown does not have cable TV. He even said so when asked about the increasing media coverage:
It's been fun. But I'm not letting that get in the way of my performance. I don't even have cable in the house, so I don't watch ESPN or anything. (via Philly.com)
So everyone just leave Dom Brown and let him do well because he doesn't want any of your cable television!
