Flyers Bring Familiar Face Back To Town

July 19, 2013

The Philadelphia Flyers announced Monday that they have brought back town favorite and Flyers legend, Ron Hextall to fulfill the duties as the team's assistant general manager and director of hockey operations.

It is believed the move was made to put Hextall in place as the successor to Paul Holmgren at general manager position, which many are saying will most likely happen in the next few years. But either way Hextall is excited to be back with the Flyers and the Flyers are excited to have him back.
