76'ers Michael Carter Williams Trumps the Miami Heat, Sets Rookie Record

October 31, 2013

Last night, in an upset against the Miami Heat, the Philadelphia 76’ers beat the running world champions 114 to 110. Last night’s “ #1” star was undoubtedly Michael Carter-Williams who brought in some serious energy, enough to almost rack up a triple-double in his first game. His rookie performance is already getting him much attention as a possible Rookie of the Year early in the 2013-14 season. Williams scored 22 points, while also managing to get 12 assists and 9 steals. Could this be a sign of a new era for the franchise? We sure hope so.

Watch to see if they keep up the momentum on Friday at 7pm, November 1st away against the Wizards.
